USA Today released their preseason college baseball Top 25 last week and Georgia Tech is ranked #19. The article includes DeAndre Smelter ('10) as a potential impact player

From the article, "After losing nine players in last year's draft, coach Danny Hall brought in 16 recruits. Junior college transfer RH Matthew Grimes will be asked to ease loss of ace Deck McGuire. Freshman DeAndre Smelter will make an immediate impact on mound and in outfield. Freshmen OF-LH Daniel Palka and SS Mott Hyde also will help quickly. Key position players include 3B Matt Skole (.335, 20 HR, 63 RBI) and 2B Jacob Esch (.284, 3, 38).
